A 934th Airlift Wing C-130 released airdrop pallets during training at the Badger Drop Zone July 24-25, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The Airmen trained from the air, as well as the ground. 27th Aerial Port Squadron Staff Sgt. David Hambly and Senior Airman Luke Miller (left) work to retrieve a dropped pallet with an all-terrain forklift driven by Senior Airman Andrea Garton (right). The wing’s mission is to fly C-130H3 cargo aircraft, both airdropping and airlanding cargo and people. The 934th regularly uses Fort McCoy drop zones for airdrop operations to prepare aircrews for real-world operations.
