A slight Band of Brothers TV series link here: the European Holocaust Memorial was made in the ruins of the German Kaufering VII concentration camp. The camp liberated by Easy Co. and the 101st was Kaufering IV, about 5 miles north and part of the same group of camps. There are a few remaining camp buildings (no barrack buildings) and a memorial consisting of headstones from various countries.
