USA/Vietnam: Lieutenant General Frederick Weyand, commander of II Field Force, Vietnam. Frederick Carlton Weyand (September 15, 1916 - February 10, 2010) was a Army General. Weyand was the last commander of American military operations in the Vietnam War from 1972–1973, and served as the 28th US Army Chief of Staff from 1974-1976.
