A pair of flintlock pistols, Francis Smart, London, circa 1710/1720. Shortened, round barrels with smooth bores in calibre, signed "F. Smart" on the breeches with the Gunmaker's Company's proof and inspection marks on the sides. Cambered flintlocks with light border and floral engraving as well as more "F. Smart" signatures. Walnut stocks with brass furniture with acanthus and floral decoration, partly engraved and partly in relief. The escutcheons bear the curved monograms "C L A V E"(?). Replacement ramrods.
