An old ski lift pulley on the peak of Chacaltaya (5,395m), which until 2009 had a glacier which supported the worlds highest ski lift at over 17,000 feet. The glacier finally disappeared completely in 2009 due to climate change induced melting. The slope in the background is where the glacier and ski run used to be.
