Protect during the winter with a covering of straw, leaves or manure. Arabis Alpina ARABIS ALPINA. This plant is a hardy pe- rennial which will thrive in any soil and is particularly adapted to rock work. It grows about six inches high and is one of the earli- est flowers to bloom in the spring. The blos- soms are white, resembling Sweet Alyssum, deliciously fragrant and so freely produced as to completely cover the plant. It should be in every garden. Per pkt. 5 cts. Aquilegia (Columbine) A free-flowering hardy plant. Flowers in the greatest profusion, early in the spring, and growing with such ease and freedom, they ought to be grown by all. Hardy perennial.
