Aveiro is a charming town surrounded by the lagoon of Ria de Aveiro. It is crossed by various water channels and often called the "Portuguese Venice". Typical are the colored Moliceiros. Fisher boats which are especially constructed for flat waters and easy to stear. Nowadays they are used for touristic tours through the Ria de Aveiro.
