LARES, Puerto Rico, February 24, 2018 - Luis Roberto Clemente (left), son of the great Baseball Player Roberto Clemente, meets Krystal Mendez (right), a survivor who turned 15 during the hurricane and was visited by local actors to celebrate her birthday. At this event, the Roberto Clemente Foundation gave away 200 pairs of sneakers to kids in the remote town of Castañer in Lares, while other non-profit organizations helped the community with legal assistance, distribution of commodities and renewable energy orientations.
