Music cognition research. Test subject listening to a piece of music while following the musical score on a screen. The aim of the research is to observe the test subject's reaction to hearing a false note in a musical piece. An infra-red eye-tracking system is used to track the motion of the subject's eyes to see what they are looking at on the screen. This research is being carried out by French cognitive psychologist Veronique Drai-Zerbib at the LUTIN centre (Laboratoire des Usages en Technologies d'Information Numeriques) in the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie, Parc de la Villette, Paris, France. Photographed in 2012.
