Apisa, Wlk. iv. 916 (1855) canescens. Proboscis absent or minute; palpi porrect, extending about the length of head and clothed with hair; antennae bipectinate with long branches, shorter in female; head, thorax, and abdomen more or less clothed witli rough hair ; mid and bind tibia; with minute terminal pairs of spurs. Fore wing short, the termen very long; rein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle; the discocellulars acutely angled; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 stalked. Hind wing small; veins 3 and 5 separate at origin ; 4 absent; 7 absent; a short veinlet from angle of discocellulars. A. Fore wing dark brown, with hyaline spots. a.
