Edward Hébert School of Medicine (SOM) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) receive more than 140 pounds of books each inside the anatomy lab at USU, Aug. 19. Every year, USU converts the nearly 400 foot-long anatomy lab into a makeshift book distribution center to issue more than $800,000 worth of books and supplies to new SOM students.
