The blocked north door of Gwaenysgor church, Flintshire, Wales, UK, with a leaded window inserted to light the new vestry during the 1931 restorations. Suggested as a pre-C15th Devil's Door (the font is early C13th), left open during baptisms as an exit for evil spirits driven out of the child. Most such doors were blocked as the custom fell out of use; there is a similar blocked N doorway at St Mary's, Cilcain.
