As a cut-flower, whether used for decoration or worn as a corsage bouquet, the soft color and fine form make them very desirable. Per pkt. 25 cts. Aster, Yellow Quilled, 5225 Within the past few years several so-called Yellow Asters have been introduced, but the color has never been sufficiently pronounced to entitle them to a permanent place. The variety now offered is really yellow, the large double flowers being of a bright sulphur. The plant is of strong, robust habit; about 18 inches high, and a most abundant bloomer. A beautiful new variety belonging to the half-dwarf class, which is by far the most useful for bedding and general purposes. The illustration portrays the effect so well as to make description almost unnecessary; suffice to say that the tips of the flowers are of velvety black purple, while the tubes are pure white.
