The station opened in 1877 for public traffic. In 1902, the station house was moved to its new place, a bit closer to the city. During the transfer, a provisional station house was built, which is visible in the picture. The expedition, the telegraph and the waiting room were in the primitive shed. Outside, on a telegraph pole, a wooden board with station name is suspended.
