Ants, hornets, and bees have been observed on Apache plume flowers. We suspect these insects are important factors in the cross-pollination of Apache plume. Eyhvidization: During the years 1967-70, some of the pistillate flowers on shrubs located at North Willow Creek Canyon, about 2 miles^northwest of Richfield, Sevier.
