Australoheros facetus, a fish of the cichlid family that lives in the La Plata basin. This species was collected by Charles Darwin in the Uruguayan department of Maldonado during his trip to the HMS Beagle and scientifically described in 1842 by Leonard Jenyns as Chromis facetus.
