MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE, KENYA: RARE footage of a headhunting hyena proudly running off with the trophy head of a warthog has been captured by a gobsmacked tourist. Dubbed the ‘Maasai Mara Headhunters’ by local guides, stunning pictures and video show the leader of the group carry his prize across the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The incredible images and footage were taken by amateur photographer Olli Teirilä (38) from Helsinki, Finland using a Canon 70D camera with a 100-400mm IS II lens.
