Tourists wearing face masks buy religious items at a street ‘new normality’ in Mexico started at the beginning of June with the end of the lockdown. The first places to be open to tourism was Real de Catorce in San Luis Potosí State. Even though the number of visitors is not comparable with those before the Covid-19 pandemic, it has slowly began to restart the economy, especially where tourism is the main source of income.
