Standing in a television studio outside the Speaker of the House's offices Rep. Joe Courtney (D-CT) tapes a comment to be offered to news stations in his Connecticut district about the House's passing of a $ billion war supplemental that would set a timetable for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. The vote was 218-212. Courtney was elected by the most narrow margin (83 votes) of all democrats victorious in the recent mid-term elections taking back control of Congress.
