Indignants Protest in Rome turns violent
The peaceful protest organised as part of the Indignants world day on October 15, 2011, turned violent in Rome. Most of the violence took place near the Colosseum — Italian police fired tear gas and water cannons at protesters after some smashed shops and bank windows, torched cars and hurled bottles.
