Found these fish along the walls of a restaurant in Mexico. They have a very simplistic look but the colours and the textures are very complex and diverse. Evidently these are cutouts of tropical fish given the design from the sides and the multitude of colours and could be used to represent the diverse culture that mexico holds. The artist made the colour of the fish accentuated around the edges where he would either apply a darker or a different colour. These fish slang slightly off the wall and serves to give the audience a field of depth to try to make the fish become more of a defined piece of artwork rather than a metaphysical one consisting of a flat image.
