The Orbisonia Bank con-trols a l?rge trade and enjovs an ex-tensive business, not cnly in Orbi-scnia, but in the surrounding terri-torv. THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK The First National Bank was open-ed f:r business on Oct. 1, 1902 inthe corner of the Beers Hotel, theroom now being occupied by C. T. .iewel^y store. When theorganization wa? started, this roomvas large enough wherein to transact. First National Bank Building 320 the business enjoyed at that time bythis concern, but as the years passedand business developed extensivelyit was found that a larger room wasnecessary, hence a portion of the lottomerly owned by W. A. Hunter waspurchased for the erection of their. handsome new bu;i/ld|ing, knowai lasthe First National Bank this wfructure the banking insti-tution was moved on Saturday after-noon, Jan. 1,)09. the business atthat time beinu transferred fromthe Beers cornei to^ the first storybf the new building, one of the tin-iest and most commodious bankingrooms in Central Pennsylvania.
