Although possessing the samefighting spirit and stick-to-it-iveness as in former years, Hakewas unable to hold his own thisyear in competition -with thesi^eedy Church and he was soondisplaced. He played in one game,however, and showed up remark-ably well at the guard position,holding his opponent in a waywhich indicated his experience inthe game.
