D.'ihlias are being shown, but still rank as a novelty, while rubrum lilies are commoner. St. Joseph lilies are being used commonly in funeral Avork and Alpine lilies arc proving attractive dec- orative features. Gardenias are again to be had, but in small quantities only, and on larger affairs steplianotis has to be substi- tuted. Lily of the valley is more plen- tiful. Ferns, begonias and fuchsias are still the chief potted items, but one house offered .a novelty in flowering marigold, set in long boxes, carrying about six plants each. Geraniums are also about ready for delivt>ry. Various Notes. During the recent convention hero of the Pacific Coast Association of Nurs- erymen, the delegates were the guests of the Seattle Florists' Association for a ride about the city and to Snoqual- mie falls, where dinner was served.
