Lancaster Bomber banking low pass over fields and trees whilst taking part in celebrations for Leeds Bradford Airport's 90th birthday on
On 20th October 2011, this WW2 Avro Lancaster Bomber, operated by the RAF 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight', made several low passes over the Leeds and Bradford International Airport as part of the airport's 90th birthday celebrations. During WW2, almost 700 Lancaster bombers had been manufactured at the Avro factory beside the airport, however this aircraft was actually built at Broughton near Chester.
