The small island of Iona, in the Inner Hebrides off the shore of Mull, Argyll, Scotland. It has around 85 permanent residents, but is visited by many tourists mainly because of Iona Abbey, an early site of Celtic Christianity, rebuilt in the twentieth century by the Iona Community.
