The iconic Crawdaddy Club is being revived on its 50th anniversary year at The Richmond Athletic Ground, where gigs were held in the 60's. The Blue Bishops perform. Jim Rodford (L) and Geoff Grange (C).


The Crawdaddy Club in Richmond has an important place in the birth of British Rhythm & Blues music, with a roster of legendary bands and musicians who began their early careers here. They include The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton with The Yardbirds, Paul Jones with Manfred Mann, Rod Stewart and Long John Baldry and many more.
