SASEBO, Japan (May 17, 2017) A Philippine Scout and Battle of Bataan display and collection was part of an Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage presentation given onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo May 17, 2017. Filipino and American troops fought against the Japanese during the battle, which also saw the Army's first World War II Medals of Honor awarded to Philippines Scouts.
