The Alfalfa Irrigation and Land Company has seeded 3,000 acres to alfalfa this spring, aiid proposes to increase its acreage in alfalfa at therate of 10,000 acres a year, until all its lands suitable for growing alfalfa are seeded. This company will use its alfalfa in feeding cattle and hogs,and utilize the uplands for pasturage, and in this way make productive a large investment which has hitherto brought no returns.
