The Cynghordy railway viaduct is situated on the Central / Heart of Wales railway line, and was built by Henry Robertson in 1867-8 for the LNW railway. The viaduct is 305 metres long by 33 metres high, built on a curve, and consisting of 18 arches, it is also grade 2 listed.
