Their cost is .so trilling that liberal planting should be made outdoors. A clump of 50 or more bulbs put here and there among shrubbery, or interspersed in the hardy border, or naturalized in the grass, gives an indescribably rich effect in the early spring, while a vase of the cut blooms will fill a room with the rich, spicy odor.
