The Cathedral of Brasilia Catedral Metropolitana Nossa Senhora da Aparecida was built in 1970 and designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer. It´s constructed with 16 concrete columns, weighing 90 tons each. In front of the Cathedral are four statues representing the four Evangelists.
