Mutesa II, referred to in the Western press as King Freddie, had the full name of Edward Frederick William David Walugembe Mutebi Luwangula Mutesa II. Mutesa was King, or Kabaka, of the Kingdom of Buganda, and then first President of Uganda. This photo shows Mutesa in December 1960.
