Generalcolour reddish with a blackish blaze on the face and usually similarpatches on the upper part of the fore-limbs, hips, and thighs, whichextend in the form of a garter on the inside of the limbs above theknees and hocks. Tail-tuft black. Face-blaze usually black, butbuffish or white in the guasingishu (D. c. phallius). A.—TYPICAL KORRIGUM or SENEGAL HARTEBEEST (D. corrigum typicus). In this race the black markings are strongly pronounced, and astreak is given off from the face-blaze to run upwards and outwardsbelow the eye.
