This is a new variety from Scotland which I have grown for two years. For size or quality, none equal it; many of the stems will measure over 6 inches in circurafereoce, and the leaves the largest of which measure 2 feet by 2'^ feet. This has been awarded first prizes over all other varieties, 12 stalks were shown to weigh 28 pounds without leaves. Seed of my own saving, pkt., loc; 2 pkts. 25c.; roots, 50c BEAUTY TOMATO. Of all tomatoes in the market, I have tried this beside about all those claimed to be good for the last two years, and were I to choose but one variety for my own use, or to grow for market, this would be my first selection. A party from Australia sent to Brattleboro last year, and wanted a real Yankee Tomato, and this was chos- en as a variety that would give the best satisfac- tion. It comes the nearest to perfection of any tomato I have ever seen, entirely solid, smooth, and perfect as an apple, with seldom an imper- fect one, fine, bright red, and the most free from crack or rot of all ten varieties tried last year, size just right, ripens with the very earliest, con- tinuing until cut by frost, and always plenty of green ones when destroyed in October. I picked the first ripe tomatoes July 14th, last year, while others did not show signs of ripening till July 25, or August 1st. This seed I grow, which
