Motorway junction. At left is the slip road leading from the clockwise (A) carriageway of the M25 motorway onto the south-westbound (A) carriageway of the M3 motorway. The M3 (both carriageways seen at right) is part of the UK motorway network, and runs from Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey, to Southampton, Hampshire. The M25 is the orbital motorway surrounding Greater London. The two motorways meet at junction 2 of the M3, which is also junction 12 of the M25. This photograph was taken from Lyne Lane.
