A photograph of the results of a medical experiment dealing with phosphorous that was carried out by doctors at Ravensbrück concentration camp. In the experiment, a mixture of phosphorus and rubber was applied to the skin and ignited. After twenty seconds, the fire was extinguished with water and then wiped with R17. After three days, the burn was treated with Echinacin in liquid form. After two weeks the wound had healed.
