Soactive in his habits, so intimately associatedwith the business life of the community, sopublic-spirited in all matters connected withthe social, moral and material interests ofthe district he did so much to develop, itwill be long before his name and influenceare forgotten in Egremont, or, indeed, inSouth Grey.
