Bird tracks on sand at Nairn Beach


Nairn Beach in the eastern Highlands is a long sandy beach which is home to a number of species of wading birds, including oystercatchers, curlew and bar-tailed godwits. The photo shows the tracks of some of these birds as they probe the sand for worms.
