First Sgt. Hector Ocasio with Higher Headquarters Company, Fort McCoy Garrison, a Fort McCoy Army Ten-Miler team member, fires the starting gun for the Commander's Run on June 14, 2017, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The event was the last of three races organized by the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) at Fort McCoy that also served as a team trial race. The Fort McCoy DFMWR team also helped the post's Ten-Miler team have everything they needed to prepare for the overall event.
