In this work the StateSuperintendent of Public Instruction and the county superintendents of nearbycounties co-operated, the university merely furnishing the-buildings and generalequipment. There seemed, however, to be a growing demand for opportunitiesto do more advanced work which was met by establishing, in 1910. a universitysummer session.
