Andy Buchanan (1) and Bill Rhodes(r), students at Columbia TheologicalSeminary, who will serve in AshevillePresbytery during the summer. Andy Bu-chanan will serve at Hayesville and assistat the Young Peoples Conference at Mon-treat. Bill Rhodes has been coming toBrittains Cove for services every first andthird Sundays and will serve that field dur-ing the summer. He will assist at the Pio-neer Camp. BOARD CHURCH EXTENSIONHELPING PRESBYTERY The Board of Church Extension hasagain endorsed the home mission work ofAsheville Presbytery by increasing the ap-propriation to this Presbytery. The increaseis one-third of the amount needed to add$ per year to each pastors salary From the funds in the Self-Denial Offer-ing of 1950, they also appropriated $ the Malvern Hills Church to apply onthe mortgage loan due them, representingmoney borrowed to construct the churchbuilding.
