The cruise ship MSC Euribia is seen during its construction at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire (France). The Atlantic Shipyards in Saint-Nazaire (France) are building a new cruise ship for the Italian-Swiss company MSC equipped with sustainable technologies. Named MSC EURIBIA, this ship is fuelled by LNG without emitting sulfur oxides (SOx) and reduces nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 85%. It does not emit fine particles and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 20%. Cruise ships are increasingly criticised in the ports where they dock for their pollution.
