The liner MV Fairsea operated by Sitmar Line pictured in 1957 after a refit and substantial upgrade. The Fairsea MV made 80 plus voyages from England and Europe transporting migrants to Australia after World War II. Her engines caught fire on a return voyage to Europe in 1969 effectively ending her life
