The buddhist kingdom of Ladakh is located in the north-east of India, inserted into the Himalayan chain, at the border of Pakistan and Tibet. It is a region located between 3500m and 5500 m of altitude. Here, the region of the Chang Tang high plateau (between 4300m and 5000m of altitude) where the nomades élèvent the famous chèvres Pashminas giving the best quality of wool in the world.
