In 1S85, he was elected Judge of the Superior Courtof Buffalo, assuming the office in January, 1886, and was by his associates made Chief Judge inJanuary, 1891. So ably has Judge Titus discharged the duties of his high office, and so wideis his reputation as a conscientious and learned jurist, that he has shown himself worthy thehonor of his party and of all good citizens.
