Mr. Choochart Kalmapijit founded Maesa Elephant Camp in 1976 with the initial of five elephants. With high concern on elephants health care and breeding for captive elephants, presently they have over seventy happy elephants. Maesa Elephant Camp is the first elephant camp in the world who received the ISO 9001:2000 and The Thailand Standard Camp Award.
