The first, of a high quality of weaving, was produced between 1570-1580 in the workshop of Adriaan Blommaert (GCPA: 0237527, 0237530:0237533); the second, of a coarser weaving, was produced around 1600 in the workshop of Jan Raes I & Jacques Guebels I, whose monogram appears on the panels (GCPA: 0237528:0237529, 0237534:0237536). Tom Campbell identifies 2 panels with the second group (GCPA: 0237528:0237529); de Vega adds 3 more (GCPA: 0237534:0237536). There are 11 panels in this set, but the 8th panel (La familia de Darío a los pies de Alejandro) is not represented in the Photo Study Collection.
