Demoiselle Crane (Anthropoides virgo). Incubating bird on nest, turning eggs, as water level rises from a series of torrential downpours. Note extra nesting material gathered in efforts to raise eggs above water line. This was successful. NB. Typically this species has a token nest made of minimal vegetetion bits or pebbles.
