Boats used to bring migrants from africa which come to the port of Portopalo di c Passero on the south east tip of Sicily are decommissioned and stored in this area of waste ground in the port area. They make a sorry sight, many are in very poor condition yet carried dozens of migrants across the mediterranean sea.
